Universal Tests

Did you ever feel that you were on a law of attraction roll, manifesting all the good things and feeling all the good vibes? You even felt that you were in the right vibrational frequency to truly become the person you intend to be? You feel on top of the world – on cloud 9….

…Then out of nowhere…BAM!!!

You’re hit with a problem to solve…directly related to the new belief system you’re trying to break. A magicality test, so to speak.

A test of your faith, a test of your gratitude, a test of your manifestation skills and a test that will utterly make you feel like you should throw in the towel…Why should I even bother with this LOA voodoo?!? It doesn’t even work!!!!

But that thought – it’s not coming from the universe, it’s coming from your ego…reframe your feelings on this test. How can it be solved and how can it make me think of how it aligns with my vision? Maybe you told yourself and declared to the universe that you’re a money magnet and then out of nowhere a big expense pops up literally out of nowhere and leaves you breathless…what’s the reason for this?

Just maybe the universe is testing your faith. You’re a money magnet, eh? Then why is this test making your knees knock and your belief waiver? Look this obstacle straight in the eye and tell it you got this!!

Believe.

You are on the right track to manifesting that which you desire! It’s just a test. I repeat it’s just a test!!!

Intention Journaling

When you’re trying to manifest something into your life or better yet, trying to figure out how to get through a stressful time (like the holidays, busy season at work, countless to do list items, etc), I have a secret for you – intention journaling!

This tool can help alleviate a lot of stress in your life. Get your favorite journal and a pen, and focus on what’s going on in your life causing you stress (or what it is you’re looking to manifest). Think of how you would feel when this thing is accomplished and what the best possible outcome is, then journal as if it already happened!

Example:

The holidays went so perfectly, better than expected! I was able to do all of my shopping in budget, and wrapping with ease!! I can’t believe I finished so effortlessly! My family time was so wonderful and I especially loved when we set aside time to tell each other what we were grateful for!

Etc, etc

Get clear as possible in this exercise and watch how stress is lifted and manifestation begins to happen!

Expect Miracles

Did you ever hear someone say, “Be realistic,” or “I’m realistic and that’s why abc happened…” or some variation of this?

“Realistic,” is a word that keeps you in a box – it is a limiting belief!

What if you decided today that this word didn’t exist? Or…What if you chose to redefine this word to mean infinite possibilities? How would your new reality look?

The Importance of Addressing Limiting Beliefs in Order to Attract Your Desires

4.2.14 Limiting BeliefsHave you ever wanted something so badly—to hit a home run, to win that certain prize at a raffle, to attract more clients at work—but 9 times of out 10 you don’t get what you hope for? Even when you used visualization to FEEL what it is like to have those things already, and you imagine and SPEAK as if they are already true facts, why are your wishes still not fulfilled most of the time?

The reason is because you don’t truly BELIEVE you can have, or deserve, or can be what you are aiming for. It is your belief system that gets in the way of your goals.  Essentially, you are TELLING the Universe what you want while exuding an energy that is contradictory.

Feeling is the language of the soul, so if you have any doubts about accomplishing your ultimate goals, those doubts will be expressed in your feelings, or subconscious beliefs. Those limiting beliefs you have will affect your end result, which will probably be you not getting what you want.

Your subconscious limiting beliefs will affect your feelings, which will then affect your actions. While dreaming about your ideal end result is great, if you don’t take proactive steps toward attaining your goals and fulfilling your desires, you are preventing positive outcomes for yourself.  But, if your heart really doesn’t believe you can attain what you want, your actions will be full of trepidation, fear, negativity, and dubiousness.

To address your negative, limiting beliefs such as, “I never win anything,” or “I can never get ahead,” or “There’s no way I can do this,” do some tapping to help clear those negative beliefs and fears and replace them with a new, positive perspective or try using a negativity analysis to address your lack of belief in yourself.

In the meantime, keep working on honing your awareness skills and acting on the signs of Magicality that present themselves to you in the form of sudden opportunities, “coincidental” meetings or new introductions, or internal guidance from within yourself.

We believe in you…it’s time you start really believing in yourself!

Instead of Fear Leading You, Follow a Life of Faith

Fear gives us what we don’t want and faith gives us what we do want in life. But often, we are driven by fear. That is a huge component of why we don’t get what we think we are asking for in our thoughts.

Maybe you have a business venture you want to go after but you’re afraid of leaving your current job. Maybe you want to take a class but are afraid of failure. Maybe you want to skydive but are afraid of your parachute not opening. Whatever the case may be for you…fear is holding you back.

So how do you push fear aside??

Great question! The only true way to do so is with Faith. Faith opens up doors for you where there was once only walls. Faith will move mountains to make things happen. Faith is your answer!

I just watched the movie Jobs about the life of Steve Jobs. He always had undeniable faith. Faith in himself and faith in the products he created. He knew that Apple would be a success. He didn’t love a fear-led life. He led a faith-led life.

Start believing in the universe fully and whole-heatedly. Know that when you ask for something that you will receive it. Know that fear is ego-driven and made up completely. For the most part, it is irrational thoughts.

If fear weren’t irrational, why would the #1 fear be public speaking?

Embrace your faith today and watch as your world begins to change. You’ll begin to do things that fear once held you back from doing. And it will be Amazing!! Trust that.

Trust the universe and most importantly trust in yourself.

Although Sometimes Not Easy, You Can & Will Get Through

Last week I discussed some struggles that recently happened for me in my life. Today I wanted to share a more specific story with you. Before I gave birth I had planned on breastfeeding my little one until he was a year old. I had it all planned.

In my head, it wouldn’t hurt as badly as people said it would. In my head, I would be a natural at it. In my head, it would come so easily. Notice…these were all things in my head.

I guess deep down subconsciously I didn’t believe these surface thoughts I had floating in my head, because from the moment he was born none of those things were true.

It was a bit painful, unnatural and not at all easy.

But I decided to ignore these feelings and persevere. The lactation consultant at the hospital was super nice and showed me a football position that I would continue on doing for the next several weeks by myself.

Then at my 2 week checkup with my pediatrician, he told us although our son was perfectly healthy (thank God!), he hadn’t reached his original birth weight (apparently babies lose a bunch of weight within days after being born). So the Dr basically said we had to go to a lactation support group to test out my milk supply.

This happened to be the week of Thanksgiving and really felt so devastating. So to get our baby ready and go to the support group, it ended up taking several hours. While there, I was taught better latching and holding techniques, which I was truly grateful for. But to my dismay, I was put on a very demanding feeding and pumping schedule.

In addition I was told to take fenugreek and blessed thistle to help increase my supply.  Then I had to attend a few more of these packed filled sessions that took hours from our day for those several weeks.

At so many points I wanted to give up.  Especially when my pump broke (yes that happened twice) and when the blessed thistle made me violently ill amongst a million other reasons. But I knew deep down that I had the universe–God on my side. I kept telling myself that I would get through this and that my baby would gain weight.

So sure enough at his 1 month checkup the Dr was very pleased with his weight gain and told us to keep doing what we were doing.

So I went home and decided to listen to inspiration–and I stopped pumping and started feeding my boy when he “asked” for it. He ate–a lot! This became very demanding as well but I held on for the ride.

I swore at 2 months that I would switch to formula but I wanted to prove I could sustain my son and help him increase his weight. Sure enough at his 2 month checkup he was thriving!  And something told me to keep at it.  So I listened to inspiration and kept nursing my son.

So now 2 months later I am still exclusively nursing and some days I toy with idea of switching to formula.

I’m not sure how long I will be able to last but I take it day by day. I removed the set time frames of “1 year” from myself and just go with the flow, as wavy as the flow may be at times.

Life will throw you curve balls and the unexpected. You may think you have it all figured out, but something in your subconscious comes to life and sends you for a loop.

Know that the universe will send you inspiration.  You just have to be open to receiving it.  Remember to listen.

How Becoming More Aware of Your Body Will Help You Attract What You Want

3.12.14 Body AwarenessHave you ever noticed how your body feels when you are watching a suspenseful or scary movie?  When I stop and tune into my body when I am watching a scary movie or a fight scene that I have to look away from, the muscles in my whole body are often clenched and tense; I am not in a relaxed, comfortable state.

What about when you are replaying in your mind a confrontation you may have had with a someone that you don’t see eye to eye with, have you ever taken notice of the way your body feels when you are saying all those negative, angry things in your head over and over?  If you haven’t, I suggest you try it.  It’s amazing what you will learn about the connection between your mind and body.

I first learned the importance of tuning into my body and being in the moment while reading The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle.  I was living in my old house at the time and, I kid you not, literally ever time, while laying in bed at night, when I would remember to tune into my body so that I could make sure it was relaxed, I would always hear the train that ran past our neighborhood about half a mile away, no matter what time of night it was.

Once it past the, “That’s a weird coincidence” state after this happened a hand full of times, I actually got to the point of expecting to hear the train as soon as I released all the tension I may have been holding in my body, tension I often had no idea was even there till I really took the time to check in with myself and see.  The train became a cool Sign of Magicality for me that I was really present, in the moment at that time, and I was grateful for and enjoyed its reminder.

Part of being able to attract what you want is being in the moment; when you are living in the past or wishing for the future, you are pushing things away from you.  Not being in the moment means you are ungrateful for the place you are in right now and that you have lost touch with yourself and your greater source.  You will not be able to attract your desires if you are not appreciative of the now and if you are disconnected from your body, your soul.

By taking a moment to really BE in your BODY, to let it speak to you by showing you what is going on with it—the pains, the tense muscles, your posture, whatever it is it has to share with you, you are making a conscious effort to reconnect with the Universe and it is when that connection is strong that the magic happens.

Start practicing taking a moment to stop, every so often, and see what is going on with your body.  Your body will instantly react to your thoughts and emotions, and vice versa…and, the Universe will instantly react to all of it!  So, take a deep breath, relax your body, flip your magnet so it is smiling and you will attract your desires!

Getting Off the Law of Attraction Path Can Lead You Right Back Onto It

Happy Monday readers!! Have you ever had a moment in life that put you off track? Did it seem like you wouldn’t be able to pick yourself up, but yet you found yourself back on your journey and path to enlightenment?

Well I for sure have…plenty of times in my journey so far and today I wanted to share one of these monumental times with you.

As you may or may not know, I had my first child in November (it’s a BOY!) and am truly blessed with this little miracle.

As I write this post I am looking down on him sleeping on me and he has the most precious face (sorry for the cheesy moment). What I want to share with you today is that having a child completely side-tracked me in my law of attraction and Magicality skills.

From the days leading up to his birth I had gotten hardly any sleep. Then from the moment I was in labor, he was born and now 4 months later, I still am a sleep deprived “mombie”.

I am not sure if it is the sleep deprivation, the shock of being a new parent, the struggles with a newborn or perhaps a combination of all of these things that pushed me off my path, but I can recognize that I had been off for quite some while.

My Magicality Magnet for sure was flipped down more times than I would like to admit. There were plenty of times that I reached out to my Magicality Buddy, my friends, family…anyone that could help make sense of things for me.

In my head, logically I knew that my thoughts were contradicting what I want to really attract in life. But for some reason, it wasn’t an easy task to switch my thoughts back to positive.

So after several months of tapping and doing negativity analyses, I can finally say I feel back in tune with the law or attraction.

I can say that although back in tune, I still feel I need a tune-up and that it will take my mental strength and perseverance to be where I was before I gave birth.

But every day is a new opportunity to flip your magnet….in fact every moment is. If you find yourself out of sorts like I was, please know that this is normal. Know that you will get back on track and that this is just a test of your faith. A magicality hiccup for you. All hiccups come to an end….it just may take some ‘salt on your tongue, loads of water or even a good scare’ to get it to stop.

I guess you need to go through rough patches to truly appreciate the greatness that life really has to offer. The world is filled with opposites and this is just one of those instances you have to live through.

And believe me…you will always come out stronger on the other side.

Law of Attraction Challenge #10: Perform a Negativity Analysis This Week

This week, and last, Rayna wrote posts explaining how to do a Negativity Analysis.  Now we want you to try it!

Take some time this week, when you find yourself stressed about something or your mood turning sour–your Magnet essentially flipping–to ask yourself what it is that is truly bothering you, give a detailed description of the negative emotion involved and confront it, recognizing that it is there, accepting it and allowing it to dissolve.
