How Becoming More Aware of Your Body Will Help You Attract What You Want

3.12.14 Body AwarenessHave you ever noticed how your body feels when you are watching a suspenseful or scary movie?  When I stop and tune into my body when I am watching a scary movie or a fight scene that I have to look away from, the muscles in my whole body are often clenched and tense; I am not in a relaxed, comfortable state.

What about when you are replaying in your mind a confrontation you may have had with a someone that you don’t see eye to eye with, have you ever taken notice of the way your body feels when you are saying all those negative, angry things in your head over and over?  If you haven’t, I suggest you try it.  It’s amazing what you will learn about the connection between your mind and body.

I first learned the importance of tuning into my body and being in the moment while reading The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle.  I was living in my old house at the time and, I kid you not, literally ever time, while laying in bed at night, when I would remember to tune into my body so that I could make sure it was relaxed, I would always hear the train that ran past our neighborhood about half a mile away, no matter what time of night it was.

Once it past the, “That’s a weird coincidence” state after this happened a hand full of times, I actually got to the point of expecting to hear the train as soon as I released all the tension I may have been holding in my body, tension I often had no idea was even there till I really took the time to check in with myself and see.  The train became a cool Sign of Magicality for me that I was really present, in the moment at that time, and I was grateful for and enjoyed its reminder.

Part of being able to attract what you want is being in the moment; when you are living in the past or wishing for the future, you are pushing things away from you.  Not being in the moment means you are ungrateful for the place you are in right now and that you have lost touch with yourself and your greater source.  You will not be able to attract your desires if you are not appreciative of the now and if you are disconnected from your body, your soul.

By taking a moment to really BE in your BODY, to let it speak to you by showing you what is going on with it—the pains, the tense muscles, your posture, whatever it is it has to share with you, you are making a conscious effort to reconnect with the Universe and it is when that connection is strong that the magic happens.

Start practicing taking a moment to stop, every so often, and see what is going on with your body.  Your body will instantly react to your thoughts and emotions, and vice versa…and, the Universe will instantly react to all of it!  So, take a deep breath, relax your body, flip your magnet so it is smiling and you will attract your desires!

Happy Monday readers!! Have you ever had a moment in life that put you off track? Did it seem like you wouldn’t be able to pick yourself up, but yet you found yourself back on your journey and path to enlightenment?

Well I for sure have…plenty of times in my journey so far and today I wanted to share one of these monumental times with you.

As you may or may not know, I had my first child in November (it’s a BOY!) and am truly blessed with this little miracle.

As I write this post I am looking down on him sleeping on me and he has the most precious face (sorry for the cheesy moment). What I want to share with you today is that having a child completely side-tracked me in my law of attraction and Magicality skills.

From the days leading up to his birth I had gotten hardly any sleep. Then from the moment I was in labor, he was born and now 4 months later, I still am a sleep deprived “mombie”.

I am not sure if it is the sleep deprivation, the shock of being a new parent, the struggles with a newborn or perhaps a combination of all of these things that pushed me off my path, but I can recognize that I had been off for quite some while.

My Magicality Magnet for sure was flipped down more times than I would like to admit. There were plenty of times that I reached out to my Magicality Buddy, my friends, family…anyone that could help make sense of things for me.

In my head, logically I knew that my thoughts were contradicting what I want to really attract in life. But for some reason, it wasn’t an easy task to switch my thoughts back to positive.

So after several months of tapping and doing negativity analyses, I can finally say I feel back in tune with the law or attraction.

I can say that although back in tune, I still feel I need a tune-up and that it will take my mental strength and perseverance to be where I was before I gave birth.

But every day is a new opportunity to flip your magnet….in fact every moment is. If you find yourself out of sorts like I was, please know that this is normal. Know that you will get back on track and that this is just a test of your faith. A magicality hiccup for you. All hiccups come to an end….it just may take some ‘salt on your tongue, loads of water or even a good scare’ to get it to stop.

I guess you need to go through rough patches to truly appreciate the greatness that life really has to offer. The world is filled with opposites and this is just one of those instances you have to live through.

And believe me…you will always come out stronger on the other side.

Take some time this week, when you find yourself stressed about something or your mood turning sour–your Magnet essentially flipping–to ask yourself what it is that is truly bothering you, give a detailed description of the negative emotion involved and confront it, recognizing that it is there, accepting it and allowing it to dissolve.

Attract Inspiration and Allow Yourself to BE Inspired!

3.5.14 Attract InspirationHave you ever been reading and had such powerfully inspiring thought pop in your head that you had to write it down because you knew you wouldn’t remember the wording the same exact way, or the feeling it evoked at the time, if you remember it at all days from then?

While reading Noah St. John’s book, The Book of Afformations: Discovering the Missing Piece to Abundant Health, Wealth, Love and Happiness, I was suddenly hit with this realization, this exact phrase that quickly scribbled down, “I just want to be inspired.  That’s what I want in life.  That is what makes me feel good, excites and thrills me, and fills me with hope and energy.”

Realizing this literally opened my eyes and mind, in that exact moment, in a totally different way.  It was like I just finally understood what I need to do.  I need to follow my inspirations, do what makes me feel inspired, and the rest will just fall into place.  I felt it was the truth; a truth I didn’t know existed in me before.  And I believe it is the truth for ALL of us!!

Inspiration drives your inner spirit; it puts you on the path towards your life’s purpose; it keeps your energy up and entices your feet to keep moving toward the goal of your soul—whether you know what that is or not.  The more you allow yourself to be inspired, the clearer your life’s purpose will become.

Laissez Faire; set the intention to be constantly flooded with inspiration, let go of worrying about the “how’s,” “what’s,” “when’s,” and “why’s” and open your inspiration flood gates!

Allow yourself to be inspired!  Love this feeling and you will attract more inspiration to you—an inspiring person or conversation, and inspiring book or seminar, an inspiring thought or image.  Just be inspired!

Confronting Your Negative Emotions to Attract Better Things Into Your Life: Part 2

In last weeks post, you learned how to perform a Negativity Analysis on yourself to improve your thoughts, flip your magnet UP and to attract the life that you know you deserve.

I hope that this exercise has proven to help you in your journey and that you are confronting negative thoughts and are finally able to move past them.

When I first describe this process to some of my clients, I often get a little reservation and fear on doing this process.  So I find that sharing one of my own experiences can help them take the leap of faith in doing their own negativity analysis and ultimately will help you.

So today, I will describe to you in detail what my very first experience was like in an effort to help you along with your own process and self discovery.

My First Negativity Analysis:
To preface I was about 8 months pregnant at the time and woke up with a horrible Charlie horse and then had to use the restroom.  So as I laid back down I starting feeling anxious about this upcoming business call and I kept worrying it wasn’t going to be a good call.

So I decided to confront those feelings with the negativity analysis and here’s what happened.

STEP 1:

So I was already in a quiet and dark place because it was the middle of the night.

STEP 2:

So I focused on my fear and anxiety of this upcoming call.

STEP 3:

Then I remembered I needed to describe it.  So I allowed my thoughts to lead me and I realized it was yellow and it was like a blob form and it smelled sour and then I touched it and it was squishy!

STEP 4:

Then I waited for it to talk to me.  So I looked at it right on and just stared at it until it spoke to me.

It said that it was a defense mechanism to help me because it didn’t want to get rejected.  It said it’s just there for me just like my mom would protect me when I was little.

But then it said it realizes now that it’s expired (that’s why it smelled so sour) and it’s no longer needed because I come from greatness and I do great things.

It then disappeared.

It was such an incredible moment for me to find out why I’ve been so scared to move forward with my dreams and business calls like these.  It was because I was afraid of the potential rejection.  But because of this fear, I was setting myself up for rejection.

The next day my call actually went great—so much better than I had anticipated!  And I owed it all to my negativity analysis.
