“The Universe is My Name, Fulfilling Orders is My Game”

If you’re like most people, we’ve all experienced, at least once in our life, a time when money felt hard to come by, like you were working so hard and it just didn’t seem to be paying off in dollar signs.  When this happens, our faith in the “All Mighty, All Abundant” Universe starts to waver and we start to stress about money…I know I catch it happening to me.

Being new homeowners, the holiday season took its toll on us a bit more this year than usual and that sense of “lack” and “needing money” mindset was starting to wrap its tentacles around my magnet and flip it for the worse.  But, before the Lack Monster was able to really take me down, the Universe went, “And totally redeemed itself!” (In the words of Harry Dunne, in “Dumb and Dumber”)

Unexpectedly, in the mail, I received a rebate check, albeit its small dollar figure, I still took it as a sign of Magicality, that there is money out there for me and that it is coming my way.  And, before I was finished opening all the mail, on that same rebate-check-day, I opened an unexpected card from my grandfather with a $100 money order in it!

I was instantly floored by the situation and my good fortune; I was floored by the power of the Universe to deliver me unexpected gifts when I needed them the most!  And, boy, did that Lack Monster retreat like a vampire on the first signs of daybreak.

This experience couldn’t help but remind me of our Magicality Moment #11: Have Faith At All Times.  I love the analogy that Rayna used; the Universe is a reliable company that you place an order with and it always delivers.

It is so important to be aware of your thoughts and emotions, the energy you are projecting out into the universe, because you will get what you ask for, what you “think” for, what you are “feeling” for.  The shipping time can vary but like the USPS, rain or shine, good or bad, your order will be delivered, without a doubt.  All you need is faith in the end result!

So, get clear about what kind of order you are placing because your order is not necessarily refundable or returnable.  The Universe will fulfill your request whether you like it or not so make your choices carefully and make them really count!

Attract Compliments and Accept Them With Positivity

If you are like me, it always makes me feel good when I receive a compliment—my hair looks great, I look like I lost weight, that color brings out the color of my eyes, etc.

Recently, I’ve become aware that whenever I receive a compliment, I have trouble just accepting it; unfortunately, I always say thank you and then I usually go and negate the positive remark with a negatively charged comment.

For example, someone recently complimented me on my hair, telling me that they loved my curls.  While I was appreciative of the comment, and thanked the person, I didn’t leave it at that.  I began to explain how the weather was making it kind of frizzy that day and how I really needed to get my color done because my roots are so long.  Essentially, I went and totally ruined the comment with all my negative retorts.

But, I am not going to get down on myself for being negative when I receive a compliment.  Instead, I am going to be appreciative of the fact that I became aware, on my own, of the way I was handling compliments and that I am now making a conscious effort to be grateful for the comment and simply say, “thank you for the compliment,” and leave it at that; I am not going to allow that sabotaging negative voice in my head push its way through and out my mouth.

By receiving the compliments you get with warmth and positivity, your energy expresses to the Universe that you enjoy receiving compliments and your positivity will attract more circumstances, a.k.a compliments, to keep this positive cycle flowing.

So, the next time someone compliments you, be aware of your reaction.  Did you follow your thank you with a negative response?  Did you say thank you but then think the negative response only to yourself, which equals the same thing as saying it out loud.  Or were you just grateful for the compliment and let the positive energy wash over you? Your reaction will determine whether compliments flow freely to you, or slip-slide away.

Playing Truth or Dare with The Universe…

12.11.13 Truth or Dare

Have you ever played Truth or Dare?  I never was a fan of the game because I felt I was cornered with either choice; you never know what to expect if you choose “Dare” but sometimes the “Truth” can be just as scary as the dare might be.

The interesting thing about that game is that you have no control over the dare but you do have control over your truths.  Your truths are created each moment of your life.  They are your past, present and future.  You have had a hand in all of it, whether you like it or not.

Unlike people, the Universe does not play Truth or Dare.  It has no interest in Dares.  The Universe only believes in Truth; that is all that it is interested in from you and all it will ever offer you.

The Universe believes in being truthful with you at all times therefore it will always prove you to be right; whatever you believe in your thoughts, in your mind, in your soul, in your senses, in your emotions, the Universe will show you only things to prove you right.

The Universe will never lie to you.  All that happens in your life is a reflection of your thoughts; it is your truth. Your world around you is living proof.

But, you can decide, at every point in time, in every moment, what your truth is. So, because of this power, because of this special ability, you are able at any moment in time to recreate your truth.

Be who you want to be. Think those positive things that you wish to be truth. Make them your truth. Be positive instead of assuming the worst. Allow yourself to be the best YOU you can be, with all the best things.

Make every statement in your head a positive truth because the Universe will make it so! Whatever you wish for will be reflected back at you by the Universe, because the Universe only ever tells the Truth, so make it a good wish!

May all your wishes be positive and truthful!

Laissez Faire Lifestyle: An Often Overlooked Aspect of the Law of Attraction

Some of you may remember hearing the term “Laissez-Faire” in your high school history and economics classes.  This French term dates back to the 17th century but became more common in English-speaking countries in the late 18th century.  There are many interpretations of its definition.

Economically speaking, the term would mean “leave it be,” and encourages little restrictions by the government on economic transactions between private parties, or a “hands-off” approach.

In the Magicality sense, Laissez-Faire means not interfering with the universe; let it do its job, follow the signs it presents to you and it will lead you on the path you are meant to be on.

Be detached and objective.  Don’t worry about all the possibilities and the “what ifs.”  Don’t try to plan things out too much or try to make things happen.  Have faith in this natural system; let go of worry and let the universe figure it out for you!

By not getting in the way of the universe, and therefore yourself, you are enabling the incredible power of the universe and human potential to be unleashed!  All you need to do is set the intention of what you would like to have, or have happen, and then intervene as little as possible until it is time to act on the opportunities that are presented to you.

And, don’t worry, they will come when the time is right, but you must be aware of them!  It may be in an unexpected way, because the universe loves to test our intuitive abilities and make sure our senses are tuned into everything around us, but everything we hope will happen, will happen!

Follow the signs of Magicality because they will never steer you wrong!
